Piper Fowler-Wright
I’m a St Andrews alumnus, having completed a PhD in the School of Physics & Astronomy. I became involved with the Carpentries shortly after beginning my studies at St Andrews, helping my first workshop in November 2020 covering the Unix Shell, Git and Python – topics I had familiarity with. In the following months I trained to become a Carpentry instructor, and continued to instruct these topics at Carpentry workshops.
In addition to my experience with Shell, Git and Python I have interest in other areas of scientific computing and Linux system administration, having obtained a Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1) qualification during my PhD studies. You can find out more on my personal webpage.
